I awoke at 5 am very disoriented. What was that sound? Dammit Babe! turn your pager off.... Oh, not a pager!
Marvin gay? In my bedroom?
Wha?
Ohhhhh! Alarm clock is going off.
Fuuuuuudge!
(All this in a space of 5 seconds)
Realization that it was time to start my day ...ahem... Dawned on me. (Yeah, I did it. I made an intentional pun).
I dragged my sorry, four hours of sleep self out of my cozy nest of blankets and proceeded to start my day.
Not the most glorious of beginnings.
Meh!
I went to work determined to figure out my new regimen there. I knew I had to drink a shot of Ionix solution before I could have my shake.
My day was to look like this:
Early morning- Ionix solution (a vitamin b rich complex)
Mid morning- a protein shake
Morning snack- one of 6 approved snacks (mine ended up being almonds) with an accelerator tablet)
Afternoon- protein shake
Mid afternoon - snack ( I had two isosnack which is like a protein wafer) with an accelerator tablet.
Evening - a 400-600 calorie well balanced, low glycemic meal
Bedtime- an isoflush tablet
All washed down with plenty of water.
Not too hard. However my spacing of my day was hard to do. Especially since I waited til almost 9 to take my first thing.
Oops!!
Did I feel hungry? Yes.
Was it a bad hunger? No.
I definitely knew when it was time to eat though.
At no time was I obsessing over when I could do my next meal.
So that was good.
Did I have brain fog? Hmmmm. Maybe a little mid day.
BUT! I did only get 4 hrs the night before and I had no coffee to make me wake the f up!
And that's another pleasant surprise-- so far no caffeine withdrawal headache. I found I was craving the warmth of a chai or coffee but it was more for emotional comfort than actual need.
I did take a nice brisk walk midday around 1130a. And I guess I should confess to the 10 min power nap in my car at 230p.
Again Marvin woke me up. Bastard!
But he was right. It was time to "get it on!"
O yeah! Lets get this healthy lifestyle kicking it!
Day 1 is in the bag. I survived. It didnt even feel like I was striving all that hard to do it either. Watch out day 2!
